The Usage Rules for Shopware United Slack Group

It is important to us to enable our community members to have a good and valuable exchange. As the community grows, it’s harder to maintain this standard without some rules to steer us in the right direction.

General Rules:

  • Your “Display Name” should include your company name like “John Doe (MyCompanyName)”
  • Keep public conversations in English
  • Use the dedicated language channels for discussions other than English
  • No advertising & no promotion for services/businesses
  • No tagging of “all” or “channel” allowed to to reduce the notifications you’re getting, but feel free to tag individual members in threads if you believe they can add value
  • Try to answer posts in threads to keep the community organized
  • We would love it if most of the conversations happen in public conversations (not in DMs), as the whole community benefits from sharing insights publicly
Shopware United board members can be easily recognised by the :shopware-united-icon: sign. This is therefore reserved for SWU board members only
  • This Slack channel does not replace the official Shopware Slackroom, which should still be used for technical topics
