August opened with Shopware 6.7.13.0 (guest-account conversion, Dynamic Product Group display options, B2B Components upgrades) and closed with a serious security round: 6.7.13.1 and 6.6.10.23 fixed nine vulnerabilities including a critical App Script sandbox escape. Mid-month brought a leadership reshuffle at Schöppingen, with Joachim Weber stepping up as Co-CEO alongside founder Sebastian Hamann (sole CEO from January 2027) while co-founder Stefan Hamann moves into a new Chief Agentic Officer role, and Meet Magento Czech returned to Prague after nearly a decade. Open Commerce had its busiest month of the year: six articles, a new Open Podcast episode, and a fourteen-platform PIM/PLM comparative report. Strix kept pace with five posts of its own, and Commerce Famous released three new episodes.
