Welcome to the 37th edition of the Shopware United Community Digest!

July 2026 opened with a stumble and a quick recovery: Shopware 6.7.12.0 shipped on July 7 carrying a Twig incompatibility issue serious enough to warrant an immediate patch, and 6.7.12.1 landed the same day with meaningfully better search relevance, native AI Discovery Files (llms.txt/agents.md support), and a new Rule Builder condition, followed by a quieter 6.7.12.2 security patch on July 23. Forrester named Shopware a Strong Performer in its Q3 2026 Commerce Solutions Wave, and the community kept moving offline too, with Shopware Circle Munich and Meet Magento UK both landing in the same week. Open Commerce carried the month’s biggest storyline: three articles and a two-part Open Podcast series with D2C expert Mateusz Oktaba on why direct-to-consumer is an operating model rather than a storefront, plus a Sander Mangel byline on shopware.com unpacking why PayPal is showing up at Shopware hackathons.

A big thank-you to everyone who wrote, recorded, and showed up this month. Enjoy the highlights.
